The Constitution of the United States of America

Preamble: WE THE PEOPLE of the United States , in order to form a more perfect union , establish justice , insure domestic tranquility , provide for the common defense , promote the general welfare , and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity , do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

The Bill of Rights is the name by which the first ten amendments to the United States Constitution are known. The Bill of Rights limits the powers of the Federal Govt. and protects the Rights of all Citizens , residents and visitors on United States territory.

The Bill of Rights protects Freedom of Speech , Freedom of Religion , the right to bear arms , the Freedom of Assembly and the Freedom to Petition. It also prohibits unreasonable search & seizure , cruel & unusual punishment , and testifying against ones self. The Bill of Rights also  prohibits the federal government from depriving any person of Life , Liberty or Property without due process of law.

The Bill of Rights plays a central role in American Law & Government and remains a fundamental symbol of the Freedoms and Culture of America.
