David Villa 83rd Minute Goal sends Spain to Semifinals

David Villa’s goal in the 83rd minute was just enough to knock out Paraguay. Spain advances for the first time to the World Cup semifinals.

The road gets much tougher now against the hottest team in the tournament Germany. Looking forward to that match.

Both Spain and Paraguay missed a penalty opportunity each in a hard fought match.

Spain’s leading scorer David Villa capitalized on a rebound chance in the 83rd minute and blasted the winning goal in the net, via the post.

Paraguay had a good run in this World Cup. Spain is in to the semifinals.

Germany Absolutely Crush Argentina 4-0 Men against Boys

This was total domination by Deutschland. Germany just absolutely crushed a previously considered strong team. It was Men against Boys on this day.

Europe is soaring in this World Cup. South America is crumbling. What an embarrassment for the overrated Messi and Argentina.

The only ball boy here is Maradona.

The German blitzkrieg rolls on to the semifinals. Argentina flies home in disgrace.

Bastian Schweinsteiger was the man of the match. It was a true team win with lots of unselfish passing. Miroslav Klose had 2 goals in this game and now 14 total in World Cup matches.

World Cup Germany

Germany towered over Argentina literally, physically, skillfully – in all ways.

Congratulations Germany [Deutschland] I can see you in the Finals versus Holland. Well played.

Holland rally Beats World #1 Brazil 2-1 best World Cup Match

Holland [Netherlands] strong second half and two goals by man of the match, Wesley Sneijder, were enough for victory over world number one ranked Brazil [Brasil].

Holland really came alive in the final 45 minutes and played with passion while favored Brazil could not keep up after a terrific first fifteen minutes of the best match by far of this 2010 World Cup.

Just a brilliant match that will be talked about for a long time. Robinho’s first fifteen minutes. The Melo OG – own goal, off the kick by Sneijder.

The amazing designed corner kick :Robben- Kuyt – Sneijder.  Maarten Stekelenburg’s save of a high / right , would be equalizer by Kaka.

Netherlands Wesley Sneijder's electrifying 2 goals propel Holland over world #1 Brazil into the 2010 World Cup Semi finals Oranje 2 Brasil 1

With their fifth win in World Cup 2010 the Netherlands extend its team-record unbeaten streak to 24 games. The Dutch as a team haven’t lost since September 2008.

They advance to the semi-finals, most likely against Uruguay. This bodes well for Germany in their much anticipated quarterfinal with Argentina.

What a Game. It was a shame one team had to lose. The Oranje are very deserving winners and world #1 Brasil have been knocked out of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Brazil will be the team to beat on home soil at the 2014 World Cup.
