1994 World Cup Romario Brazil over Baggio Italy

The 1994 World Cup was a rarity. It was an afternoon game in bright sun and also the first time a winner was determined by way of penalty kicks.

The 1994 World Cup in the USA also had the largest attendance for both a final 94,194 and the whole tournament 3,590,000.

Romario, Branco and Dunga of  Brasil defeated Baggio and Italy at the Rose Bowl in [Pasadena] Los Angeles, California.

Incredibly, Italy missed 3 out of 5 penalty kicks. Brasil only missed once and team captain Dunga had the game winner.

It was an impressive match, although there was no goal in 120 minutes [90 + 30 extratime]
