1794 silver $1 Coin million dollar gold coin

A 1794 Flowing Hair silver $1 coin sold for $1.2 million at a rare coin auction held by Bowers and Merena in Boston. 

The 1794 silver dollars are so rare that only 140 of America’s first silver $1 coins are believed to exist.

A mint condition 1794 Flowing Hair silver dollar sold for $7.8 million in May, setting a new record price for a coin.

And how about that $1 million dollar gold coin from the Royal Canadian Mint of Canada?

The Million dollar gold coin goes on auction in the fall of 2011.
