Roger Clemens charged with Lying to Congress

Multiple Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury for lying to Congress about using steroids during his [MLB] major league baseball career.

The 9th winningest pitcher in MLB history with 354 Wins, Clemens faces charges of obstruction of justice, perjury and false statements for testimony he gave to Congress regarding use of performance enhancing drugs: steroids and [HGH] human growth hormone.

If convicted Clemens could face 21 months in prison, out of a maximum sentence of 30 years and a $1.5 million fine.
