JR Seau was a member of the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team and played professional football at the highest level from 1990 to 2010.
The San Diego native was an All-American linebacker with USC before taking his talents to the San Diego Chargers, drafted 5th overall in the 1990 NFL Draft.
Police are investigating the cause of death – which is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot to the chest. Fast and Furious program Say Ow.
RIP. Junior Seau dead, way before his time, at 43.
How is it possible the winningest quarterback in Division 1 college football history was not selected in the 2012 NFL draft?
Kellen Moore was a Heisman finalist in 2010 and the only QB to win 50 games. Moore completed 70% of his passes and finished his career with a QB rating of 169.
As proven by Tom Brady back in 2000, a late 6th round selection at #199 overall, the NFL draft is not an exact science.
Kellen Moore, all he does is win.
Apparently, the NFL doesn’t have a combine drill to measure heart, smarts or the will to win.

In the 22 of 36 Bowl, more commonly called the 2012 AFC Championship Game, the New England Patriots survive a 4th Quarter scare by the Baltimore Ravens.
Both Quarterbacks were 22 of 36 passing on the day and Raven QB Joe Flacco had better stats than QB Tom Brady but it is the Pats who advance to the Super Bowl.
4th quarter Raven blunders included the likely game-winning dropped touchdown in the endzone with seconds left in the game.
And who can forget the botched field goal by ultra-reliable kicker William “Billy” Cundiff.
Though the Ravens had fewer turnovers, held the ball longer, outpassed and outran the Patriots they failed in the most important category of all, outscoring the opponent.
When it mattered most, zero fourth quarter points scored send the Baltimore Ravens and Ray Lewis home on a mad plane ride.
Tim Tebow passed for 316 yards while appropriately averaging 31.6 yards per catch when the Denver Broncos upset the Pittsburgh Steelers in the John 3:16 Bowl otherwise known as NFL wildcard playoff game or simply the Mile High Miracle.
John 3:16 Tebow 316 Mile High Miracle everlasting life thank you Jesus
For God so loved the World that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16
Tom Brady and the Patriots are going to nail Tim Tebow to a cross this weekend.
Don Carter was the greatest bowler of his era, winning six Bowler of the Year honors between 1953 and 1962.
He was a driving force in the creation of the Professional Bowlers Association in 1958 and served as its first President.
In 1964 “Mr. Bowling” Don Carter became the first athlete in American sports history to sign a Million Dollar marketing endorsement contract, with Ebonite.
He was voted second best bowler of the 20th century and inducted into the American Bowling Congress Hall of Fame in 1970.
With thirteen perfect 300 games and five 800 series in his career, Don Carter became a charter member of the PBA Hall of Fame in 1975.
“ I’m famous because I’m the only guy to have two wives in the Hall of Fame.” – Don Carter
Va Tech was twice as good as Michigan in last nights Sugar Bowl. Twice as many first downs, twice as many total yards, twice as many touchdown chances.
And of course twice as many missed opportunities, field goals and mistakes, none more crucial than an inexplicable fake punt late in the 4th quarter.
Yet after all the comedy of errors in regulation time, just when victory was in reach with a certain touchdown catch and reception in overtime, the replay official unbelievably robbed Virginia Tech of the 2012 Sugar Bowl.
There was no doubt WR Danny Coale maintained control 100% throughout the entire winning catch in the endzone.
Sometimes the best team doesn’t win on the scoreboard. Congrats Michigan Wolverines, you played the system.
The horror for the fans of Virginia Tech University. The horror for the bettors in Las Vegas on the wrong side of a half point. The horror.
