Hebrew National Lawsuit Oy Vey

Hebrew National lawsuit, oy vey, was reported by American Jewish World. The case is Wallace et al v. ConAgra Foods Inc, U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota, No. 12-01354

The lawsuit alleges that [A] meat processing services provided to ConAgra by AER, fell short of the standards necessary to label Hebrew National products as kosher.

[B] ConAgra misled consumers and was able to charge premium prices. Oy vey.

Plaintiffs are seeking unspecified damages and an injunction against further mislabeling. The lawsuit seeks class-action status for US purchasers of Hebrew National products over the last 4 years, and alleges negligence and violation of state consumer fraud laws.

ConAgra denies any wrong-doing and stands behind the quality of its Hebrew National hot dogs and their kosher status.

ConAgra marks Hebrew National packages with a Triangle K symbol and represents that the contents are kosher as defined by the most stringent Jews who follow Orthodox Jewish law.

But something not kosher is going on here. Too much of what goes on in the world isn’t kosher. Class action lawsuit = millions for attorneys and a $1.00 off coupon for plaintiffs. Oy!

If we really knew what was in the meats and snacks that we purchase at the supermarket and order at fast-food restaurants, we probably would not want to buy it, let alone eat it.

In other news: Costco sales of Kosher Hot Dogs go limp. Oy, indeed. And the oy’s have it.

NYC Big Soda Ban

NYC big soda ban proposed by Mayor Michael Bloomberg and the Health Dept. wants to decide what and how much New Yorkers drink.

If Bloomberg has his way, sugary drinks at restaurants, street carts and theaters will be outlawed. The sale of any sweetened drink larger than 16 fluid ounces would be prohibited at deli’s, fast-food chains and sports arenas.

Beverages sold in grocery or convenience stores would be exempt and the measure would not apply to alcohol, diet sodas, fruit juices and milkshakes.

Diet sodas and drinks usually contain aspartame, a substance far more dangerous than sugar and even high fructose corn syrup.

Studies prove aspartame in diet sodas cause severe neurologic, gastrointestinal and psychological problems.

But you don’t see Bloomberg ordering his Health Department to ban aspartame’s use, now do you?

America’s Oldest Teenager, Dick Clark won Emmys, Grammys, Lifetime Achievement Award, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and induction into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.

For the past 5 decades, Dick Clark thrived with his own Production company and quietly became one of Hollywood’s wealthiest showmen.

Dick Clark lived the American Dream with a vengeance. For now, Dick Clark, so long.

Obamacare Unconstitutional

Obamacare unconstitutional healthcare monstrosity. The law says that Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan must recuse herself rather than shove the unconstitutional takeover of healthcare upon the masses.

The perfectly natural performance of function constitutes health. There is a Principle of Life in the universe, and it is the One Living Substance from which all things are made.

A human being is a form of this Living Substance and has within him a Principle of Health. The Power that Heals is in the patient himself.

If a person has faith in the efficacy of a medicine and is able to apply that faith to himself, that medicine will certainly cause him to be cured. Faith, personally applied, cures.

So we see that if a person thinks in a certain healthy way, and eats, drinks, breathes, and sleeps in a corresponding way, he will be well.

Gallagher Heart Attack

Gallagher’s heart attack may have been preventable if Dr. Caldwell B. Esselstyn and Dr. Dean Ornish are correct about a plant-based, no meat and no dairy diet.

Perhaps instead of smashing watermelons, the comedic genius should be eating the melons instead and smashing the artery clogging food.

The brown recluse spider bite is more dangerous than the Black Widow, as their venom causes necrosis. A single bite from a brown recluse may be deadly to humans.

Necrosis is the premature death of cells in living tissue usually caused by external infection or toxins.

Ronnie Montrose Dead at 64

Classic rock guitarist Ronnie Montrose has died at 64 from prostate cancer.
