Chains you can believe in – Joe Biden 2012. The office of the Vice Presidency hit a new low with Biden’s racist remark “They’re going to put y’all back in chains.” Say it ain’t so, Joe. Hope and chains, huh.

Is this the new Obama/Biden 2012 campaign slogan, Hope and Chains? Chains you can believe in.

Biden’s racist comment drew immediate criticism from the Republican Party with Mitt Romney telling Barack Obama to take his campaign of division, anger and hate back to Chicago.

Hebrew National Lawsuit Oy Vey

Hebrew National lawsuit, oy vey, was reported by American Jewish World. The case is Wallace et al v. ConAgra Foods Inc, U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota, No. 12-01354

The lawsuit alleges that [A] meat processing services provided to ConAgra by AER, fell short of the standards necessary to label Hebrew National products as kosher.

[B] ConAgra misled consumers and was able to charge premium prices. Oy vey.

Plaintiffs are seeking unspecified damages and an injunction against further mislabeling. The lawsuit seeks class-action status for US purchasers of Hebrew National products over the last 4 years, and alleges negligence and violation of state consumer fraud laws.

ConAgra denies any wrong-doing and stands behind the quality of its Hebrew National hot dogs and their kosher status.

ConAgra marks Hebrew National packages with a Triangle K symbol and represents that the contents are kosher as defined by the most stringent Jews who follow Orthodox Jewish law.

But something not kosher is going on here. Too much of what goes on in the world isn’t kosher. Class action lawsuit = millions for attorneys and a $1.00 off coupon for plaintiffs. Oy!

If we really knew what was in the meats and snacks that we purchase at the supermarket and order at fast-food restaurants, we probably would not want to buy it, let alone eat it.

Serpent Pastor Dies Rattlesnake Bite

Mark Wolford, a West Virginia Pentecostal serpent-handling Pastor, has died from a rattlesnake bite received during an outdoor church ritual on Sunday.

God protects those best who protect themselves best from unnecessary danger.

The 44 year old pastor laid a poisonous timber rattlesnake on the ground. Wolford sat down next to the snake and it bit him on the thigh.

As the situation worsened, the serpent-handler was taken to a hospital where he later died on Monday.

NYC Big Soda Ban

NYC big soda ban proposed by Mayor Michael Bloomberg and the Health Dept. wants to decide what and how much New Yorkers drink.

If Bloomberg has his way, sugary drinks at restaurants, street carts and theaters will be outlawed. The sale of any sweetened drink larger than 16 fluid ounces would be prohibited at deli’s, fast-food chains and sports arenas.

Beverages sold in grocery or convenience stores would be exempt and the measure would not apply to alcohol, diet sodas, fruit juices and milkshakes.

Diet sodas and drinks usually contain aspartame, a substance far more dangerous than sugar and even high fructose corn syrup.

Studies prove aspartame in diet sodas cause severe neurologic, gastrointestinal and psychological problems.

But you don’t see Bloomberg ordering his Health Department to ban aspartame’s use, now do you?

Junior Seau Dead at 43

Junior Seau dead at 43. The 12 time NFL Pro Bowler was found shot to death in his Oceanside, California home.

JR Seau was a member of the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team and played professional football at the highest level from 1990 to 2010.

The San Diego native was an All-American linebacker with USC before taking his talents to the San Diego Chargers, drafted 5th overall in the 1990 NFL Draft.

The head of the NSA, General Keith Alexander was called to testify before Congress where he denied the facility would be spying on USA citizens.
