Rand Paul was detained by TSA federal agents after refusing to be groped.
US Senator Rand Paul missed his flight to Washington DC after refusing a pat-down on the grounds that it was an infringement of his rights and private property.
Rand Paul has been critical of the TSA’s overthrow of the Bill of Rights and Constitution and the heavy handed security tactics the agency employs inside airports and beyond.
The police state in this country is growing out of control.
You can’t travel unless the TSA says so. There’s no more due process.
We must restore the freedom and respect for liberty that once made American the greatest nation in human history.
“Anonymous” hacktivists strike back over internet censorship SOPA, PIPA and in retaliation for the federal agents piracy raid and shutdown of Megaupload, a massive file sharing site with 50 million daily users and 3% of internet traffic.
Armed officers raided an Auckland mansion occupied by Kim Dotcom, whose Megaupload website was shut down by US authorities on Thursday, accusing it of one of the largest cases of copyright theft ever.
The police seized luxury cars worth NZ$6.0 million [USD$4.8 million] including a 1959 pink Cadillac and a Rolls Royce Phantom. NZ$11 million in cash held in New Zealand financial accounts were also frozen.
Anonymous has answered by temporarily shutting down government websites including the official website for the US Federal Bureau of Investigation at FBI.gov FBI Homepage
and the Department of Justice, as well as music and movie sites Universal Music Group, RIAA and Motion Picture Association of America.
Washington DC wants to extradite the Auckland Four to face prosecution for massive worldwide online piracy of numerous types of copyrighted works,
through Megaupload.com and related sites, on charges of racketeering and money laundering that could carry jail time of up to 20 years.
“ Even without SOPA having been passed yet, the federal government already has tremendous powers to do some of the things that they want to do.
This occurred without SOPA being passed – imagine what will occur after SOPA is passed, and PIPA and things of that nature.
They plan on fighting to the end and so do we.” – Barrett Brown
Facebook debate Sunday NBC News/Facebook Republican Debate in the great State of New Hampshire.
DAVID GREGORY: Speaker Gingrich, why shouldn’t Governor Romney be the nominee of this party? What about his record concerns you most or makes him disqualified to be the nominee?
NEWT GINGRICH: Look, I think what Republicans have to ask is who’s most likely in the long run to survive against the kind of billion dollar campaign the Obama team is gonna run.
And I think that a bold Reagan conservative with a very strong economic plan is a lot more likely to succeed in that campaign than a relatively timid Massachusetts moderate who even The Wall Street Journal said had an economy plan so timid it resembled Obama.

RON PAUL: That demonstrates how much out of touch the US government and the US Congress is with the American people.
I’m supporting things that help the American people.
I work on the principle that Freedom and the Constitution bring people together.
“ I would continue to do what I’m doing now – Preaching the Gospel of LIBERTY. We need to defend liberty.” – Dr. Ron Paul at Facebook debate
Federal acts SOPA [internet free speech takeover] and NDAA [indefinite detention without a trial] are laws terribly destructive to the Freedom of Americans. Wake Up People.
