” There is No Threat to Earth in 2012. There is No Danger. All of the talk about a Doomsday is a big Hoax. So please don’t worry about it.” says NASA astrophysicist David Morrison.
There’s been a lot of talk about a Planet X or Nibiru, a giant planet that’s going to hit the Earth, or come very close, in 2012 .
The simple fact is, Nibiru does not exist. Astronomers would have been tracking it for a decade and it would be visible now. It’s not there. It’s a no-show. There’s nothing to worry about. Nothing’s coming to hit us in 2012.
There’s also been some talk about a global alignment. This happens every December. It really doesn’t mean anything, and there’s nothing special about 2012.
There’s also been some talk that somehow the poles are going to flip. If you’re talking about the rotation pole of the planet, that can’t change. It never has and never will.
If you’re concerned about a shift in magnetic polarity – a shift in the North and South pole – which does take place every few hundred thousand years, well there’s no reason to think it will happen in 2012. And actually no evidence that it would do any harm to us, even if it did happen.
Some people talk about solar flares which could do great damage to the Earth. Well, the Solar Maximum takes place every 11 years and occasionally there is some damage to satellites in orbit. But very little real damage is done.
And there’s no solar maximum predicted in 2012. The next solar maximum is predicted for the spring of 2013 and is anticipated that it will be lower than usual.
” Again, all this 2012 talk is just a Hoax. It’s a Fake. It’s nothing you should worry about… it’s Not True. Don’t worry about 2012 and Enjoy 2013, when it comes.” – NASA scientist David Morrison
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon says an agreement dealing with climate change must be finalised in Copenhagen in December 2009. We have “ four months” to secure the future of our Planet.
4 months to Save the Planet – say what? I could be wrong but Mr. Ban Ki-moon is sounding like a shill for the bankers and politicians who will profit enormously from a Cap and Trade Tax Scheme.
What happened to the world has less than 10 years to halt the global rise in greenhouse gas emissions if we are to avoid catastrophic consequences for people and the planet speech by UN Director Ban Ki-moon?
Cap and Trade tax scheme, lobbyists gone wild with your Tax Dollars , will NOT Save the Planet video:
Climate change is NOT the fundamental threat to humankind but Ki-moon is claiming that “if we fail to act, climate change will intensify droughts, floods and other natural disasters. Tensions will worsen.
Social unrest – even violence – could follow. The damage to national economies will be enormous. The human suffering will be incalculable.” – Ban Ki-moon
I could be wrong but I don’t agree with his Doomsday Vision or allowing bankers and government to control every aspect of our life, disempowering the people and enslaving the masses.
George Carlin ♥ Save the Planet Video:
George Carlin says that the greatest arrogance of all is in Saving The Planet 😉 We don’t even know how to take care of ourselves yet.
We don’t know how to take care of one another and we’re going to save the planet? ☼ The Planet is Fine – the People are F’d.
“ The planet will be just fine The Planet isn’t Going Anywhere – WE ARE It just is and so are we for a little while.” – George Carlin
CERN and the Large Hadron Collider Atom Smasher – Is it an investigation into the makeup of the universe — or dangerous tampering with nature that could spell doomsday.
The multi-billion dollar Large Hadron Collider will explore the tiniest particles and come close to reenacting the big bang, the theory that a colossal explosion created the universe.
National Geographic reports – 1 in 50 Million Chance to End World – I like my chances
And AP Associated Press has this video out with scientists saying the atom-smasher Won’t bring Armageddon.
Smashing Atoms at 99.9 % The Speed of Light – The Largest Scientific Test in History. Best of Success
Update: The world’s biggest physics experiment, the Large Hadron particle collider has begun 9-10-08 in a 17-mile tunnel below the French-Swiss border, producing so much data that even the massive computing power at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, can’t handle it all. The LHC Grid, a network of 60,000 computers, will analyze what happens when protons are hurled at each other inside the collider.
Particle physicists celebrated on Wednesday after the long-awaited startup of the Large Hadron Collider, designed to expose secrets of the cosmos, passed its first test with flying colors. Cheers and champagne marked the breakthrough, rather than the cataclysmic suck of a black hole, as doomsayers had feared.
The mission aims at resolving some of the greatest enigmas in physics: whether a so-called “God particle” exists that would account for the nature of mass; an explanation for “dark matter” and “dark energy” that account for 96 percent of the cosmos; and whether other dimensions exist in parallel to our own. It’s about acquiring knowledge for humanity about the behaviour of fundamental matter.
The LHC took nearly 20 years to complete and at six billion Swiss francs (3.76 billion euros, 5.46 billion dollars) is one of the costliest and most complex scientific experiments ever attempted.
It was a historic day for CERN and mankind’s thirst for knowledge. Stay tuned.
