Hebrew National Lawsuit Oy Vey

Hebrew National lawsuit, oy vey, was reported by American Jewish World. The case is Wallace et al v. ConAgra Foods Inc, U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota, No. 12-01354

The lawsuit alleges that [A] meat processing services provided to ConAgra by AER, fell short of the standards necessary to label Hebrew National products as kosher.

[B] ConAgra misled consumers and was able to charge premium prices. Oy vey.

Plaintiffs are seeking unspecified damages and an injunction against further mislabeling. The lawsuit seeks class-action status for US purchasers of Hebrew National products over the last 4 years, and alleges negligence and violation of state consumer fraud laws.

ConAgra denies any wrong-doing and stands behind the quality of its Hebrew National hot dogs and their kosher status.

ConAgra marks Hebrew National packages with a Triangle K symbol and represents that the contents are kosher as defined by the most stringent Jews who follow Orthodox Jewish law.

But something not kosher is going on here. Too much of what goes on in the world isn’t kosher. Class action lawsuit = millions for attorneys and a $1.00 off coupon for plaintiffs. Oy!

If we really knew what was in the meats and snacks that we purchase at the supermarket and order at fast-food restaurants, we probably would not want to buy it, let alone eat it.

In other news: Costco sales of Kosher Hot Dogs go limp. Oy, indeed. And the oy’s have it.

Winning 58% of the “vote”, Владимир Путин [Vladimir Putin] has won another Russian Federation Presidential election.

Speaking outside the Kremlin walls, Vladimir Putin was heard saying “ I have promised that we would win and ‘we’ have won.” – vɫɐˈdʲimʲɪr ˈputʲɪn

Some opposition parties and independent observers said they felt the vote was tainted by corruption.

Bank Melli Iran Mahmoud Reza Khavari

Iranian-Canadian Mahmoud Reza Khavari was chairman of the board and managing director of Iran’s largest bank, the state-owned Bank Melli, until he resigned and fled the country for Toronto, Canada in 2011.

Prosecutors are seeking to question him and officials at several Iranian banks suspected of facilitating fraudulent rial and foreign currency banking payments totaling over $3 Billion USD.

BMI is owned and operated by the government of Iran and should follow the banking principles and practices described in the Islamic Banking law of Iran, only engaging in interest-free Islamic transactions.

Canada has no extradition treaty with Iran and they can not legally extradite individuals to countries that are likely to torture prisoners or impose death-penalty sentences.

Charles Rangel 13 Criminal Ethics Violations a disgrace to America

Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee Charles Rangel is a major disgrace to Democrats, all Americans and America.

The senile 20 term, 80 year old Representative of  Harlem, New York refused to retire so now let’s see Rangel wrangle his way out of  a public congressional trial this September. It will be Charlie Rangel’s War.

Rangel had been given every opportunity to negotiate a settlement during the investigation phase but the ethics violator refused.

So it is now finally on to the trial phase, after years of delay and inaction by the proper authorities.

Some of the 13 ethics violation charges include failure to report more than $600,000 income on his congressional financial disclosure statement.

Failure to report income from his vacation property in the Dominican Republic.

Accepting a rent-stabilized property in Manhattan for his campaign office

Using congressional letterhead to solicit donations for a center for public service to bear his name. 

Accepting money gifts from AIG for bailout money.

He didn’t know he had nearly a million dollars tucked away in some accounts.

Rangel writes the tax code but as for himself, he is on a tax holiday.

It’s an Insult to America that House Speaker Pelosi promised to run the most honest and ethical House ever, yet a House Chairman is allowed to stay in office after years of known ethics violations.

IRS US Gov goes after UBS Secret Swiss Banking Confidentiality Laws

The Swiss and US Government have come to some kind of agreement but revealed no details publicly. No terms will be announced until the agreement is formally signed. 

Swiss Banks hold over $2,000,000,000,000 [ two trillion USD ] Worth of Foreign Money from Wealthy American , British , German , French , Italian ,  Belgian and other clients.

The IRS has asked Zurich based UBS Bank to turn over the Names of 52,000 American Clients ,

in Violation of Swiss Banking Confidentiality Laws.
