Grammys 2012 Grammy Awards Winners Adele

Grammys 2012 – Grammy Awards winners included Adele who’s blockbuster sales had her sweeping the Big Three Grammy Awards for best Album, Record and Song of the Year 2012.

Adele won all 6 categories she was entered in. Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters won five Grammys including Best Rock Album.

Bon Iver won the Best New Artist Award and Best Alternative Music Album. Lady Gaga won and performed nothing on the night.

Jennifer Hudson performed I [we] Will Always Love You in an emotional tribute to Whitney Houston.

Stevie Ray Vaughan caught in the Crossfire

Legendary blues guitarist and 6 time Grammy winner, Stevie Ray Vaughan died 20 years ago today, in a midnight helicopter crash.

The extremely popular musician and singer is remembered by his passionate fans for his world famous SRV battered Fender Stratocaster guitar, which Vaughan referred to as ” Number One ” or ” first wife.”

With blues band Double Trouble,  Stevie Ray Vaughan created hits like  ” Crossfire” , “Pride and Joy” , “Love Struck” and others.

Rolling Stone magazine honored Stevie Ray Vaughan as one of the Top 100 Guitarists of all time. And a statue of him was built in 1994 at Austin, Texas.

Stevie Ray Vaughan was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2000.
