Ronald Poppo, a 65 year old Miami homeless man, has been identified as the victim in the horrific face-chewing attack.

Miami Police Detective William Moreno said Eugene continued to chew on Poppo’s face even after he was shot. It took five more rounds to disable and kill Rudy Eugene.

Boxing Champion Vernon Forrest Murdered Shot to Death

Vernon Forrest , the former Welterweight and Jr. Middleweight Boxing Champion was shot to death on the streets of downtown Atlanta , Georgia. Forrest is best known for having knocked down and defeated the then ” pound for pound ” undefeated Shane Mosley.

Vernon ” The Viper ” Forrest won the 2002 Fighter of the Year Award from Ring Magazine as well as the 2003 Good Guy Award from the Boxing Writers Association of America. His Professional Record was 41-3 with 29 Knockouts.

Vernon Forrest Dead at 38.
