Lance Armstrong INNOCENT

Mark Fabiani, attorney for 7 time 1999 to 2005 Tour de France Champion Lance Armstrong, is pleased that no charges were filed against Armstrong or his professional bicycle racing team.

Lance Armstrong has denied using banned performance enhancing drugs and has passed 500 tests over 20 years of competition.

The 40 year old cancer survivor retired from professional cycling in February 2011 to focus on his cancer charity, Livestrong.

“ I am gratified to learn that the US Attorneys Office is closing its investigation. It is the right decision and I commend them for reaching it.

I look forward to continuing my life as a father, a competitor and an advocate in the fight against cancer without this distraction.” – Lance Armstrong

Champagne and Smiles for Contador 3rd Tour de France Win

Contador was the controversial winner of the 2010 Tour de France. He suffered to get the result.

Some say argy-bargy. Some say Chaingate. Some say he lacked panache by not winning a single stage this year.

Cycling enthusiasts cried foul when Contador broke the sport’s unwritten [rule] etiquette about not taking advantage of unlucky breaks a rider can’t control, especially when said rider [Shleck 15th Stage] is wearing the yellow jersey.

On a Pyrenees mountain climb, when Schleck’s chain came undone, Contador sped ahead of Shleck full speed and by the stage finish had taken yellow.

Fair play has been thrown out of the window said on-air TV commentators from EuroSport during their live broadcast of the 2010 Tour de France.

Contador gained 39 seconds on Schleck, which as luck would have it, was the exact final stage margin of victory necessary for the all-important yellow jersey.

I’ll root for Schleck next year.

Cavendish was impressive as well.

Lance Armstrong, the cancer survivor and 7 time consecutive Tour de France winner has now officially retired from the event and will live strong.

Mr. Armstrong will no longer have to ride a bike on Christmas and New Years. He can devote his energies in new pursuits.

Spain's Alberto Contador all champagne and smiles after winning the Tour de France for a third time

In the end it was all champagne and smiles for Contador cruising down the Champs Elysees in Paris France celebrating his 3rd Tour de France victory as of 2010

Champagne and Smiles for Contador. Great cyclist but heartbreaking loss for Schleck. He shall return next year.

The yellow jersey is up for grabs.
