Sept 23, 2010 a 7.0 earthquake in New Zealand. 189 days later
Mar 11, 2011 a 9.0 earthquake in Japan. 188 days later
Sept 15, 2011 a 7.3 earthquake in Fiji 188 days later =
March 21, 2012?

UPDATE 3-22: We were off by 1 day. A major earthquake 7.4 magnitude rocked Mexico on March 20, 2012. If the 6 month pattern continues, the next major quake will be on or near SEPTEMBER 24, 2012.
The Sun, the source of all life, could put an end to the world as we know it in May 2013. The key word is could.
If a super solar flare storm penetrates our atmosphere, it could knock out all electricity and satellite communication on Earth.
I’m going with NASA’s version. Scientists there are much rosier about solar maximums and solar flares.
If a giant solar flare fireball hits earth in May 2013, it would be devastating. It would literally paralyze the USA for months to a year. Transformers would short-circuit and burn out. Satellites would be fried to a crisp. Computers would all go down. Again the key word is if.
According to AstroPhysicist Michio Kaku, this [solar maximum] happens about every 11 years but the next one [May 2013] could be a Big One. The last big one was in 1859.
Nasa scientist David Morrison says there’s nothing to worry about. It’s not a big one. I’m rooting for his take on the matter.

This is NASA – the National Aeronautics and Space Administration – we are talking about, for heavens sake. One would think it would be front-page headline news for AP, Reuters, New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today etc. NO.
And forget about that – under Obama, Space has been removed from NASA’s program and the foremost mission [job 1] altered to Obama’s own vision of helping the Muslim world feel good – being covered on the mainstream televised news broadcasts of ABC, CBS, or NBC.
According to the current NASA administrator, it’s expensive to fly to space and we’re going to rely more on our international partners.
So what twisted logic is it – to not focus the space program on research and development, Earth’s collapsing thermosphere, asteroids and near-Earth objects or solar flares – than instead having Job 1, helping Muslims feel good, I ask?
And is it just me or does the NASA administrator have no eyebrows and bumps instead? If Hollywood needs a space alien for an upcoming movie, this guy would be a perfect fit for the role as an actor.

NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) reported that the Thermosphere found in Earth’s upper atmosphere has recently collapsed in an unexpectedly large contraction.
The thermosphere lies high above the surface of the Earth, near where our planet meets the edge of space, unlike the troposphere which is the lowest portion of Earth’s atmosphere.
The thermosphere interacts strongly with the sun and is greatly affected by periods of high or low solar activity.
Extreme low solar activity would cause the thermosphere to cool [collapse].
However, scientists after taking both low solar activity and increased C02 [carbon dioxide] into account, are baffled by the magnitude of the contraction.
The numbers don’t add up. Something is going on that at present we do not understand.

NASA’s new Water Recovery System will make it possible for six crew members to Live Aboard the International Space Station. Some of the other “Home Improvement” Cargo are a $19 Million toilet , kitchen , two more bedrooms and the first-ever Space Cooler that will allow Astronauts to have Cold Drinks.
Four Maintenance Space Walks are also Planned. The 27th shuttle mission to the space station is due to Land back on Earth November 29th or 30th.

Astronomers have their first photos of Exoplanets , alien planets outside our solar system , courtesy of the Hubble Space Telescope. An extrasolar planet [exoplanet] is a Planet beyond our Solar System , orbiting around another Star. The frequency of detection is increasing – with 61 planets detected in 2007.
The pictures show 4 likely planets that appear as specks of white – all are trillions of miles away — three of them orbiting the same star. None of these four giant gaseous planets are habitable or remotely like Earth.
In the past 16 years , Scientists have Discovered more than 300 planets outside our Solar System , by measuring changes in Gravity , Speed or Light around stars. The actual Photos are an important step Forward – Now we have a Picture.
The planet discovered by Hubble is about the size of Neptune and three times bigger than Jupiter. It circles the Star Fomalhaut which is 100 million times brighter than its Planet. The planet is only about 200 million years old and it’s Temperature is around 260 degrees.
Three other planets , 7 to 10 times larger than Jupiter were Confirmed , circling a star named HR 8799 in the Pegasus constellation. The star itself is about 767 trillion miles away.
