Crime doesn’t pay for Maurice Clarett

Maurice Clarett has re-enrolled at thee Ohio State University after serving 42 months in prison for aggravated robbery and carrying a concealed weapon.

The former star running back who led Ohio St. to the 2002 National Championship in College Football is no longer eligible to play NCAA football nor is it likely he will get a second chance with the NFL after suing the League and his off-field problems.

Maurice Clarett was a 3rd round draft pick of the Denver Broncos in 2005 but he never played a down in the NFL.

The underachiever will get a second chance in the game of life but he has blown a multimillion dollar opportunity playing professional football.

The saddest words of tongue or pen – ” what might have been.”

Crime doesn’t pay for Maurice Clarett.
