Junior Seau dead at 43. The 12 time NFL Pro Bowler was found shot to death in his Oceanside, California home.
JR Seau was a member of the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team and played professional football at the highest level from 1990 to 2010.
The San Diego native was an All-American linebacker with USC before taking his talents to the San Diego Chargers, drafted 5th overall in the 1990 NFL Draft.
Police are investigating the cause of death – which is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot to the chest. Fast and Furious program Say Ow.

The Craigslist Killer himself was killed in a Boston jail, where he was awaiting trial. Philip Markoff, the 24 year old “Craigslist Killer” and former Boston University medical student, was found in his cell Sunday morning and he was pronounced dead at 10:15 AM.
Police suspect the Craigslist Killer committed suicide. Markoff was accused of killing a masseuse he met through an advertisement for erotic services posted on the online classifieds giant, Craigslist.org
The 2009 murder case prompted Craiglist to examine its policy toward posting erotic photos and ads for prostitution.
Craigslist had been under fire over its erotic ads and what some said amounted to a blatant Internet brothel. One third of their revenue comes from adult oriented ads.
Craigslist removed its erotic services category and a new category entitled “adult services” was opened for postings by legal adult service providers.
Not sure how much that changes anything and seems like an enormous job to police all web posts.
Authorities will investigate the facts and circumstances surrounding the death, according to the district attorney.
