Paul, the psychic octopus, picked Spain as the winner over Germany in the World Cup semi-final.
The famous mollusk from Oberhausen chose a mussel from a glass tank marked with a Spanish flag, rather than the one with the German flag, indicating a Spanish victory.
The eight-legged oracle has been 100 percent predicting Germany’s World Cup games, including Serbia’s win in the group stage.
And the speed with which Paul the psychic octopus took to prophesize the result means he is pretty sure Spain will win.
Holland [Netherlands] strong second half and two goals by man of the match, Wesley Sneijder, were enough for victory over world number one ranked Brazil [Brasil].
Holland really came alive in the final 45 minutes and played with passion while favored Brazil could not keep up after a terrific first fifteen minutes of the best match by far of this 2010 World Cup.

With their fifth win in World Cup 2010 the Netherlands extend its team-record unbeaten streak to 24 games. The Dutch as a team haven’t lost since September 2008.
They advance to the semi-finals, most likely against Uruguay. This bodes well for Germany in their much anticipated quarterfinal with Argentina.
What a Game. It was a shame one team had to lose. The Oranje are very deserving winners and world #1 Brasil have been knocked out of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Brazil will be the team to beat on home soil at the 2014 World Cup.
It took a penalty kicks shootout [5-3] for Paraguay to defeat Japan after a scoreless draw in fulltime. Paraguay now moves on to the World Cup Quarterfinals for the first time in their history.
Oscar Cardozo slowly walked up and scored the game winner for Paraguay. The road gets much tougher when they battle Spain next.
England goalkeeper Robert Green and the ” Hand of Clod ” goal – yet another disappointment in England’s World Cup history. On the bright side it’s the round of 32 and they live to fight another day, unlike the devastating ” Hand of God ” knockout in 1986.
